Hey, hi, hello.

So happy you are here, and looking to add a little more greens and goddess to your daily life.

This is the first step in becoming the very best version of yourself.

Going plant-based can seem challenging at first. From learning what to eat, how to make it delicious, meal planning, eat out and socialize, and so much more—it can all feel overwhelming. But don't worry, I've been there and it takes time.

Over the past 8 years, I've transformed the way I eat, exercise, and overall care for my body. I’ve been helping friends and family just like you learn everything you need to know to live a whole food plant-based lifestyle with ease and confidence. So, you can get healthy, feel great, and live your life to the fullest. It's your time. Let's do this together, we got you!

“Let’s slow down and treat our body like it belongs to someone you love.

Nourish her properly, give her the exercise and rest she deserves. Let’s unlock the goddess within.”

My Story

My whole-food plant based journey slowly started out of a love of finding yoga in 2013. It was through yoga that I started listening to my body, I became stronger and more aware of how different activities, food and movement affect my body. At first I made changes to the way I ate, by being more mindful of the ingredient list, where my food was coming from and shopping local.

Sometime around 2015, I came across Forks Over Knives, a documentary where researchers explore the possibility that people changing their diets from animal-based to plant-based can help eliminate or control diseases like heart disease, cancer and diabetes. I immediately cut out dairy and reduced my meat consumption. I continued to educate myself on the power of plant-based eating. And in 2017, I challenged myself to a year of a Whole Food, Plant-Based diet and I haven't looked back! I have so much more energy, the cystic acne that arose in my 30's cleared up and I was losing weight without even trying. I am weeks from turning 40 and I feel amazing (minus the Covid-fatigue), more energized and athletic than I ever was at 30.

Over these past four years, I've had numerous friends and family reach out wanting to learn more about my lifestyle, either on their own, or more recently on a doctor's recommendation to try a Whole Food, Plant-Based diet. I love to help them get started, share resources and recipe recommendations. One of my greatest joys is cooking with my husband and feeding friends and family delicious, beautiful and healthy meals. This ultimately led me to create Deme and wanting to build a community of like-minded people.

Today, I am working towards my certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies thru eCornell. I am also currently enrolled in the Food Future Institute, an entirely plant-based culinary institution. And hope to become certified a yoga teacher next year.

My the ultimate goal is to feel good, age gracefully, and build a community of new BFF’s. With a future dream of connecting in real life thru weekend retreats filled with delicious food, yoga, hiking and encouragement to become the very best version of ourselves.

Our Muse: Demeter

The Greek goddess of the harvest and presides over grains and the fertility of the earth—hello fruits and vegetables. Although she was most often referred to as the goddess of the harvest, she was also goddess of sacred law and the cycle of life and death. Inspiration much. If she was here today we’d totally be BFF’s and call her Deme for short.

“Being brave enough to just be unapologetic for who you are‚ that's a goddess.”
